How do I get new email addresses?

Solution If your email is being hosted by the Simplificare server, you can request new email addresses to be set up for your domain by submitting a support ticket through the help desk.

There are two types of email addresses that can be configured.

Full Email Account
------------------

A full email account uses the Simplificare server to send and receive emails for your domain. This also means there is a storage limit of 250MB (by default) for your account. You can use your email through the webmail interface or use a third party email client like Mozilla Thunderbird or Windows Mail.

To request a full email account your email must be handled by the Simplificare server.

You are required to provide the account name (the part before the @sign) you would like and the full name of the owner of that account.

A generic password will be generated for that account for the owner to use to log in to the email administration control panel. It is strongly recommended that the owner change their password as soon as they can.


Forwarding Email Account
------------------------

A forwarding email account only uses the Simplificare server to relay emails for your domain. You must specify the account you would like the email messages forwarded to and the alias that you would like to have used as a relayer.

For example I could have info@simplificare.net (alias) forward to myaccount@gmail.com if I wanted to.

In the example above, info@simplificare.net is the alias and myaccount@gmail.com is the address that all mail will be forwarded to.
